Dotclear is open-source web publishing software that Olivier Meunier developed in 2002. Dotclear began as a solo endeavor but quickly grew to a team of individuals with a variety of personalities and backgrounds. The project’s goal is to create a user-friendly platform that enables anyone, regardless of technical proficiency, to publish content online.

PHP 5.6 or above, with support for the following extensions:
- mbstring
- iconv
- ob_ function support
- utf8 support on preg_ functions
- simplexml and domxml
- SPL
